Location. Rummana Boutique Resort on Koh Samui, Thailand, overlooks L amai's white sand beach and is two kilometers from the town's shops and five kilometers from Namuang Waterfall.

Expert Tip. While it is a popular tourist destination, Lamai very muc h remains a small Thai village. There are a number of local shops, and price s are significantly cheaper than in larger Chaweng. Shops sell a variety of items, including beach wear, jewelry, teak furnishings and carvings, and han dicrafts such as leather, gold and silver items.
