Location. The Paradise Beach Resort is located on the Thai island of Koh Samui, at Maenam Beach. It is 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) from the island's airport. Chaweng Beach nightlife and entertainment areas are 20 minutes away.
Hotel Features. This resort comprises 95 modern Thai-style bungalows, rooms and suites. The property has two swimming pools and a baby pool, restaurants, Internet corner and in-house PADI dive center. Complimentary transport is provided to a nearby day spa and to Santiburi golf course. The Roma Restaurant serves Italian cuisine with live music for evening meals. The in-house, 5-star dive center offers complimentary introductory courses to scuba diving, PADI open water diving, PADI advanced open water diving and PADI dive master certificates. There are daily dive trips to the nearby islands of Koh Tao and Angthong Island National Marine Park.
Guestrooms. All rooms have modern Thai décor with a private balcony. Amenities include air conditioning, cable/satellite televisions with in-house movies, minibars, hair dryers, coffee/tea makers, personal safes and desks.
Expert Tip. While not renowned as a major shopping hub, Maenam village still features many vendors, mainly selling teak and Asian-style furniture. |
