Location. The Fair House Beach Resort and Hotel is located on the Thai island of Koh Samui. The resort is on Chaweng Beach, the longest and most popular beach on the island. It is a one and a quarter hour flight from Bangkok to the Koh Samui airport and approximately 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) to the resort.
Hotel Features. The resort has 130 modern rooms. Amenities include two restaurants, a bar, freeform adult and children's swimming pools with spa tub and par 3/9 golf course. The Club House contains a conference room with facilities. The Rim'Lay Restaurant is an open-air restaurant serving á la carte and buffet meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Buffet breakfast is complimentary. Themed buffet dinner nights occur throughout the week. Watersport facilities for boating, sailing, diving and snorkeling are provided on the beach in front of the resort.
Guestrooms. All rooms have modern décor complemented by wood accents and colorful fabrics. Amenities include air conditioning, cable/satellite televisions, minibars, hair dryers, coffee/tea makers and personal safes.
Expert Tip. Samui culture differs from that of other southern Thai islands - people there call themselves chao sam?i (Samui folk) rather than Thai. |
