Location. The boutique Hotel De La Paix in Geneva, Switzerland, is located on the Lake Geneva waterfront. The hotel is one kilometre from the harbour, St Pierre Cathedral and Geneva's Old Town. Mont Blanc bus station is 50 metres away, and Geneva International Airport (GVA) is four kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The Hotel De La Paix is set on an exclusive stretch of Lake Geneva's waterfront. The lobby has black and white marble flooring and a giant chandelier.
The contemporary Vertig'O restaurant serves inventive Mediterranean dishes. Vintage wines and cognacs, and rare cigars are on offer in the hotel's Nobel bar. Room service is available 24 hours a day.
The hotel offers meeting rooms, a business centre and wireless Internet access in public areas (surcharge).
Guestrooms. Lake or garden views are offered in all of the Hotel De La Paix's 84 air conditioned guestrooms. The modern rooms are decorated with rose petal or waterdrop designs. From Geneva International Airport (GVA):
Distance to Hotel De La Paix is four kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The airport's train station is a 300 metre walk from the Arrivals and Departures floors. Trains link to destinations across Switzerland. All trains stop at the central Geneva Cornavin station, and departures are approximately every 20 minutes. Single tickets cost 5 CHF. Bus number 10 runs every 10 minutes to the city centre. Bus number 18 runs every 30 minutes to the United Nations building. Single tickets cost 2.20 CHF. The Mont Blank bus station is 50 metres from the hotel. Aero Ski Bus serves many French ski stations, and tickets can be purchased at the airport. Taxis wait in the terminal forecourt and cost about 35 CHF to central Geneva. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The hotel is on Quai du Mont Blanc, overlooking Lake Geneva. Geneva is served by an excellent tram and bus network. Tickets must be purchased in advance from vending machines, and validated prior to boarding. One day passes are available, offering unlimited travel on trains, trams, buses and 'mouette' water taxis. Valet parking is available nearby (surcharge).

Follow signs for Geneva City Centre and Lake (South).
Carry on this road until the Pont du Mont Blanc.
Just before the bridge, turn left.
