Grand Case Guide: TOP
Grand Case has built itself a deserved reputation as one of the finest dining centres of the Eastern Caribbean and, as you walk down the main drag which makes up a large part of this tiny town, it's easy to see why. A series of fairly expensive restaurants lines the otherwise unremarkable street, with daily specials chalked up outside and classy wine lists displayed in the windows.
It's far from obvious why the great restaurateurs decided to set up shop in Grand Case since - food aside - there's nothing spectacular about the town. There are a handful of very good places to stay but there's little else specific in the town to bring you here. The sandy beach that lines the wide, sweeping bay is nice but modest compared to others on the coast and, outside the restaurants, there's little in the way of nightlife

On the first floor are two one bedroom apartments and a studio. The second floor and the third have the studio in the middle and a two bedroom unit on either end. Each unit has a sleep couch in addition to a queen bed. The two bedroom units have twin beds in the second bedroom. The apartments are open to the seethrough beautiful patios that extend the spacious, beautifully decorated living rooms. The fully equipped kitchens include an electric range-oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a sink with drain and a hood with an exhaust fan. The baths, embellished with decorative ceramic tile, are fully equipped. All the floors in the residence are covered with Italian Botticino marble. The walls and ceilings are painted in a light shade. All the interior doors and the baseboards are of solid varnished wood. The apartments are fully equipped with: * Individual air conditioning units with remote control. * Color TV with cable. * A telephone with a direct line.

• All rates shown are in EUROS (EUR).

  Rates include
• All rates shown are per room/suite.
• Rates include cleaning on arrival and on departure.
• Bed linen is included.

  Rates exclude
• Our rates are exclusive of the 5% taxes. 

  Cleaning
• During the stay: included twice with change of linen. Additional cleaning will be paid directly by the client.
• During Christmas & New Year: cleaning is included every day. Change of linen will be twice a week.

  Instructions on arrival
• Please advise your airline and estimated time of arrival.
• If your flight is delayed, please inform our agent in St Martin (details given at the moment of confirmation).
• On arrival or leaving the airport, please contact our local agent on the number provided in the confirmation voucher.
• If you will not go directly to the residence from the airport, please inform our agent the exact time you will be arriving at the residence. 

  Maximum Occupancy
• Studios can accomodate up to 2 people.
• One bedroom can accomodate up to 3 people.
• Two bedroom can accomodate up to 5 people.
• Thee bedroom can accomodate up to 6 people.

  Cleaning Rates
• Cleaning + change of sheets will come at a rate of EUR 30.00 per studio and EUR 43.00 per one bedroom apartment / suite.

  Payment Requirements
• For your convenience, Internet Hotel Rental Group offers secure online payments with the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please note that, should you prefer, you are able to supply your credit card information by fax. We are unable to accept your reservation request without credit card details, though you will only be billed once your booking has been confirmed, the credit card information verified and our confirmation voucher sent to you by email.

  For all reservations
• A 20% upfront will be charged at the moment of confirmation.
• An additional 50% will be charged by our agent within a week.
• The 50% balance will be charged 2 weeks prior to arrival by our agent.

  Cancellation Policy
• For all cancellations received 31 days or more prior to arrival, the 20% downpayment penalty fee will apply. 
• For all cancellations received 30 days or less prior to arrival, an additional 50% penalty fee will apply.
• No shows will result on the full amount being charged as a cancellation fee.
• No refunds for early departures. 

  During high season
(from the 20th December 2008 to the 7th March 2009)
• For all cancellations received 31 days or more prior to arrival, 20% downpayment penalty fee will apply. 
• For all cancellations received 30 days or less prior to arrival, the full amount will apply as a penalty fee
• No shows will result on the full amount being charged as a cancellation fee.
• No refunds for early departures.

  No Shows
• No shows will result in the full amount applying as a penalty fee.

  Early Departures
• For early departures, no refunds will be done.

  Children Policy

• A baby crib will come at a rate of EUR 25.00 per week.

Price & Payment
Unless otherwise stated, at the time of booking only a deposit is due. The remanining balance is payable on check-in and charged by the hotel direct. HotelRentalGroup.com accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
For security purposes, should your reservation incur a charge in excess of USD 400.00, you must submit a signed credit card authorization form. This will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation. If you fail to fax across this documentation within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Please note that as per our cancellation policy, there may be a fee for this.

Flight Information
If you are to arrive at your hotel after 5pm, please provide Hotelrentalgroup with your flight information, so that we may be able to advise the hotel of what time they can expect you. Should your flight be delayed, we strongly recommend that you contact the hotel directly to inform them of this.

Period of Stay / Rate Calculation
All stays are calculated and sold "per night". We can only guarantee a room until noon (12pm). Late check-outs can be requested at the moment of reservation in the additional comments box, but may come at an additional fee (usually 50% of the nightly rate).

Cancellation Policies & Charges
Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail, with as much notice as possible. Penalty fees may apply. Please check the terms & conditions, as these policies vary from hotel to hotel.

Cancellation Charges On All Reservations
-On all confirmed reservations, 20% of the total amount will be lost.
-Further cancellation charges may apply depending on the hotel.
Please check the specific terms & conditions for each hotel.

No Shows
No Shows will result in a 100% penalty fee.

Reservation & Confirmation
All reservations made on the web sites operated by HotelRentalGroup.com will receive a temporary confirmation number. This temporary number does not mean that the hotel room is available and is only for administrative purposes. Your final confirmation will be sent to you on your official confirmation voucher within 24 hours, unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel does not get back to us within this time frame. HotelRentalGroup.com is not responsible for any such delays.

Early departures
In addition to the standard cancellation policy, we would like to stress the point that the hotels are very strict regarding changes to the length of clients’ stays. Therefore we would like to inform you that clients departing before their booked check out date will be charged for the remaining nights and, no REFUNDS being made for unused nights.

Check In & Check Out Policy
Your room will be made available to you from 14h00 (unless stated otherwise in the terms & conditions of the hotel). Should you require a guaranteed early check in, the room must be booked and paid for in full for the day preceeding your stay.
Check out time is 12:00 hrs. For a guaranteed late check-out, clients should book for an additional night, charged at 100%.

All special offers, packages and discounts over our standard rates are offered subject to availability. HotelRentalGroup.com cannot accept any responsibility in the unlikely event that these are temporarily unavailable.

Credit Card
In order to secure a room, it is mandatory to have a credit card.

General Conditions and liability
All reservations made by clients are subject to our terms and conditions. No other terms, conditions and warranties, expressed or implied by law, custom and course of dealing shall form part of any contract between HotelRentalGroup.com and our clients except for those terms imposed by law where application is mandatory.
The client acknowledges that in making a reservation with HotelRentalGroup.com they do so only on the basis of the material contained in the HotelRentalGroup.com Web Site or relevant advertising medium. All other statements or representations made by HotelRentalGroup.com, its employees, agents or sub-contractors are of no effect unless confirmed in writing by HotelRentalGroup.com to the client.
HotelRentalGroup.com sources hotels from various hotel companies in the countries in which it operates. The condition of the stay will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you. You will be subject to its terms and conditions and local law.
HotelRentalGroup.com reserves the right to pass on to the client any government increase in local VAT or other taxes that may be introduced after a reservation is made. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local VAT at the prevailing rate in that country.
The liability of Hotelrentalgroup.com to the client for any loss, problem, damage or cancellation, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, error or any other cause shall not exceed the invoiced total value of the confirmation voucher supplied by Hotelrentalgroup.com.
