A mineral waterfall is located less than two kilometers from the resort, while a drive-through volcano, positioned three kilometers away, beckons the curious.
Hotel Features. Noted architect Nick Troubetzkoy designed this elegant resort in harmony with nature. Trou Au Diable Beach Restaurant entices the palate with Saint Lucian and Indian cuisine, and internationally influenced Caribbean fare is prepared at Piti Piton Restaurant. Both establishments are open evenings, only. The Jade Mountain Club offers light snacks from morning through late evening. Exclusive clothing and gifts are displayed at the resort's boutique, Shades of Jade. Jade Mountain Spa offers a host of therapeutic wellness services that include a menu of massage treatments and facials. Recreational diversions include choosing to do nothing at all except to witness the glorious views of the Piton Mountain peaks. Other options include borrowing a book from the on-site library or taking advantage of helicopter tours, bicycle rentals, windsurfing and kayaking. Yoga and Pilates instruction are available.
Guestrooms. This four-story property offers 24 guest suites featuring individual infinity pools. The fourth wall of the suites is missing entirely, affording unobstructed views of Saint Lucia's twin Pitons and the shimmering Caribbean Sea. Room amenities include beds draped in Egyptian-cotton linens. Refrigerators contain complimentary bottled water. Separate sitting areas offer luxurious comfort. Hardwood floors, ceiling fans, rich wooden accents and modern furnishings create a contemporary feel. Private bathrooms feature jetted tubs and handheld showerheads.
Expert Tip. Jade Mountain suites are almost devoid of technology. There are no telephones, radios, Internet connections or televisions. However, a pre-assigned service team attends to each suite 24 hours a day, and assists with all requests that fall within the scope of the resort's policies.
