Location. The Hotel Medium Valencia is located in Valencia, Spain, adjacent to the City of Arts and Sciences, one kilometre from the beach, and two kilometres from the city centre. Valencia Airport is nine kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The air-conditioned lobby of the seven-storey Hotel Medium Valencia features potted plants, bright decor, and contemporary leather and fabric sofas where guests can relax. Hotel amenities include a restaurant and bar, conference rooms, wireless Internet in public areas, complimentary newspapers and laundry services. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can assist with travel and tourist queries. For guests arriving by car, garage parking is available (surcharge).
Breakfast is served at the hotel restaurant (surcharge). Lunch and dinner menus feature a variety of Mediterranean dishes. Wines, beers and spirits are available from the bar.

Expert Tip. The icy drink called 'horchata', made from water, tiger nuts, and sugar is a speciality of Valencia. The 'horchateria' in the corner of Plaza de la Reina is the most famous in the city. It also serves delicious fried pastries.

<b>From Valencia Airport (VLC):</b><BR> Distance to Hotel Medium Valencia is 9 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive. <br><br><b>Getting there.</b> Airport buses run every 20 minutes between the airport's departures terminal and Valencia city centre. Single tickets cost 2.50 EUR. Taxis are available outside arrivals and cost about 20 EUR to the city centre (including an airport supplement). Prices are all subject to change. <br><br><b>Getting around.</b> Valencia's efficient public transport system includes trams, buses, and an underground metro service. Electric buses run throughout the old city centre, connecting many of the tourist attractions. Valencia's historic city centre is best explored on foot, as many of the narrow streets are pedestrianised. National trains depart from the city centre's Estacion del Norte station, and travel to Madrid, Barcelona, and destinations along the coast. |
