Location. Hotel Cisneros is a modern, two-storey building set in a residential part of Alcala de Henares, 30 kilometres from Madrid. The town of Alcala de Henares is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD) is 20 kilometres away, and takes approximately 35 minutes to reach by car.
Hotel Features. Guests can go for a stroll in the hotel garden or relax with a drink in the cafe bar, which has its own patio area. The front desk is open 24 hours and staff can lock guests' valuables in the safe-deposit box and deal with queries. Further amenities include secure garage parking and a laundry service. There are two dining options at Hotel Cisneros: El Cardenal Restaurant serves a range of international dishes and the Cafeteria offers snacks and drinks, and opens late into the evening.

Expert Tip. Pay a visit to the Old University on Plaza San Diego, the pride of Alcala and one of the main reasons for the town's designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Getting there. Taxis are available from the airport, and cost approximately 35 EUR to the hotel (subject to change). Buses run between the airport and Alcala. Alternatively, take Metro line 8 from terminal 2 to central Madrid's Avenida de America, then bus number 223 to Alcala bus station, and finally bus 7 to the hotel.
