Location. The boutique hotel Hospes Palau de la Mar is located in the centre of Valencia, Spain, next door to the Turia Gardens and within 500 metres of the historic old town.
Hotel Features. Situated in the desirable neighbourhood of Eixample Noble, the five-storey Hospes Palau de la Mar brings monotone minimalism to a listed 19th-century townhouse. Guests have complimentary access to the wellness centre's indoor pool and fitness room. Expert Tip. The refreshingly icy drink, horchata, is a speciality of Valencia. The horchateria, in the corner of Plaza de la Reina, is the most famous in the city. It also serves delicious fried pastries.

From Valencia Airport (VLC):
Distance to Hospes Palau de la Mar is 15 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive. <br><br>Getting there. Airport buses run every 20 minutes between the airport's departures terminal and Valencia city centre. Single tickets cost 2.50 EUR. Taxis are available outside arrivals and cost about 20 EUR to the hotel (including an airport supplement). Prices are all subject to change. <br><br>Getting around. Valencia's efficient public transport system includes trams, buses, and an underground metro service. Electric buses run throughout the old city centre, connecting many of the tourist attractions. Valencia's historic city centre is best explored on foot, as many of the narrow streets are pedestrianised. National trains depart from the city centre's Estacion del Norte station, and travel to Madrid, Barcelona, and destinations along the coast. |
