Built in 1970 and renovated in 2003, the Grupotel Montecarlo is a modern holiday complex situated 250 metres from the beach in Mallorca's Can Picafort resort. This seven storey hotel features 169 air conditioned guestrooms, all of which include modern white and yellow decor and balconies overlooking the pool. All rooms also provide cable television, direct dial phones, safes and ensuite bathrooms.
The Grupotel Montecarlo Restaurant offers a buffet of international food in a bright, modern ambience. Guests can dive into a lagoon shaped swimming pool and soak up rays on the terrace while snacks and drinks are served in the poolside bar. As well as the outdoor pool there is a heated indoor pool, two hydro massage pools, a gymnasium and a sauna. The games area features mini golf, table tennis and pool. Kids can run riot in a special play garden and their own separate pool. In the evening, a programme of live shows and music enlivens guests. For business there is a conference hall with a capacity of 100 people and laptops can be connected to the Internet via Wi Fi. Parking is provided nearby. Palma de Mallorca and its charming old town and harbour, is 60 kilometres away. Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) is 60 minutes by car, 60 kilometres (38 miles) from the hotel. |
