The modern, eight story Aranea Hotel is located Barcelona's central Eixample district, 100 meters from Gaudi's monumental Sagrada Familia Cathedral. The 84 guestrooms are characterized by simple modern décor in neutral colors, with dark wooden floors and plenty of natural light. Two more famous Gaudi buildings, La Pedrera and Casa Batllo, as well as the Passeig de Gracia and central Placa Catalunya are all approximately one kilometer from the hotel. Barcelona Airport (BCN) is 10 kilometers from the hotel. There are train services from the airport to the city center every 30 minutes. There is also an Aerobus service to Plaça de Catalunya every 12 minutes. From Placa Catalunya, take the metro to Tetuan, which is about 200 meters from the hotel. Alternatively, the hotel has a private van that can carry up to seven people and costs 75 Euros. Email the hotel in advance with flight times to arrange pick up. A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs 25 Euros.
