The Pousada do Geres-Canicada is a mountain chalet style hotel located on a hill in the Peneda-Geres National Park with spectacular views over the river Cavado and the Canicada dam. The 29 air conditioned guestrooms have rustic décor, wood furnishings and exposed timber beams. All guestrooms include minibars, direct dial phones, hair dryers and satellite television.
Guests can enjoy a swim in the outdoor pool or play a game of tennis. Breakfast is served each morning and a menu of local dishes such as a Thick Pork and Chicken Soup, and Trout in Red Wine is offered in the wood paneled, dining room.
