Location. The Ramee Guestline Hotel is located in Muscat, Oman, within 200 metres of the Qurum Beach, three kilometres from shopping malls, and seven kilometres of Muscat's museum and palace.
Hotel Features. This is modern, air conditioned hotel is situated on Qurum Beach, and has several nightclubs, an outdoor pool, a gym, a steam room and a sauna. Multilingual staff can arrange 24 hour room service, airport transfers, currency exchange and valet parking. Additional amenities include high speed Internet connections, travel and tour assistance, and a rent a car desk.
The Guestline Ramee offers several dining options: the Rock Bottom Café serves American dishes including large steaks, south Indian delicacies are offered in the Little Hut of Keranadu, and international dishes in the coffee shop. There is also a Bollywood café with live music, an Internet café, a fine dining Indian restaurant, a poolside bar, and an Arabic restaurant with live music. Expert Tip. A great place to dive is at the Oman Dive Centre in Bandar Jissah, 12 kilometres from the hotel. Quiet and quite beautiful, it has a great beach, barasti huts and a restaurant. There are half day and full day diving trips for beginners, and more experienced divers with excursions to the Daymaniyats Islands and the Ras Abu Daud wreck. |

From Muscat Seeb International Airport (MCT):
Distance to Ramee Guestline Hotel is 20 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The best way to get to the hotel is by taxi, which costs about 71 RO. Taxis and national transport buses are available outside the terminal building. Car Rental facilities are available in the Public Concourse outside the Arrival Area. There are car rental agencies at the airport and taxis run on fixed meters from the terminal building or cheaper buses can be caught from the highway, 0.5 kilometres from the airport building. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Muscat has a local bus system and Intercity buses serve most main provincial towns daily. Oman has a comprehensive system of service taxis and microbuses. Drivers depart when they have a few passengers, expecting to pick up and drop off other passengers along the way, which is a cheap way to get around if you're not in a hurry. |
