Location. Hotel les Deux Tours is located in the village of Douar Abiad, eight kilometres from the centre of Marrakech, Morocco.
Hotel Features. This two-storey hotel underwent a major refurbishment in 2008, and was the first boutique hotel to open in the Marrakech area, designed by architect Charles Boccara and set in gardens and lawns dotted with palm trees and ponds. There is an outdoor pool with a terrace where waiters serve drinks and snacks, plus two other plunge pools in the grounds. Spa facilities include hot tub and massage treatments. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can offer currency exchange, concierge services, and tour assistance. The services of a floor butler and a porter are available, and the air- conditioned public areas have complimentary wireless Internet access. There is complimentary parking on site.
Restaurant les Deux Tours serves Moroccan specialities and international dishes in a traditional setting with a domed ceiling; it overlooks a fountain and olive trees. A complimentary buffet breakfast is provided daily.
Guestrooms. The 35 air-conditioned guestrooms have traditional Moroccan decor and furnishings, and extend to balconies. All are equipped with minibars, flatscreen satellite televisions, direct-dial phones, coffee and tea facilities, and safes. Bathrooms have bathrobes, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers. Expert Tip. Djemma El Fnaa Square, eight kilometres from the hotel, provides a marvellously theatrical experience with its snake charmers, dancers, acrobats and magicians. It's also a great place to try authentic Moroccan food, cooked in the open.
