Location. The Bled Al Fassia is located near Marrakech, Morocco, in an open landscape with a clear view of the Atlas Mountains. The medieval medina and souks of Marrakech are nine kilometres away and Marrakech Menara Airport is 15 kilometres from the resort.
Hotel Features. The Bled Al Fassia is a complex of Moorish architecture with four distinctive residences set in 11 hectares, surrounded by olive and palm trees. The resort has three outdoor swimming pools, a courtyard with fountain, and Moroccan spa with hammam, sauna, and hydrojet tub. The air conditioned lobby offers express check in and check out and there is wireless Internet throughout. Secure parking is complimentary.
The restaurant at Bled Al Fassia offers traditional Moroccan dishes such as Tagine of Lamb with Almonds and Prunes, using vegetables grown on site, and accompanied by the Moroccan wines. A Moroccan breakfast is complimentary and a la carte is available for surcharge. At the Al Fassia Bar inside Dar Diaf, drinks can be enjoyed with a view of the swimming pool and mountains.
For sport and recreation, Bled Al Fassia offers a clay tennis court, horse riding, mountain biking, quad biking, boules, and table tennis. Moroccan cooking lessons can be taken at the restaurant. The Royal and Amelkis Golf Clubs are both five kilometres away.
Guestrooms. The 26 guestrooms and suites at Bled Al Fassia are split between two dars and two riads. Guestrooms are air conditioned and individually designed in Berber or Zouakee style with traditional Tadelakt lime plaster. All have satellite television and DVD players, complimentary wireless Internet, desks, and minibars. Marble fitted bathrooms provide bathrobes, slippers, and complimentary toiletries.
Expert Tip. The Ourika is a lush, green valley south of Marrakech, strung with picturesque Berber villages, leading towards Setti Fatma, a bathing place of seven waterfalls. |

From Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK):
Distance to Bled Al Fassia is 15 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Al Fassia can arrange a complimentary shuttle transfer from the airport on request. Two types of taxi are available at the airport: shared taxis (Grands Taxis) can seat six people, and private cabs (Petits Taxis) are for up to three passengers. The fare to the city centre should be approximately 50 MAD 60 MAD and to the resort about 120 MAD, and should be agreed in advance. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The resort offers a limousine car service and organises tours. Otherwise a car is recommended for the surrounding area and reaching Marrakech. Marrakech city centre is best explored by foot, as cars are unable to reach many of the narrow lanes in the medina. Sand coloured Petits Taxis can be used for short trips, and Grand Taxis are ideal for trips further afield. Horse drawn carriages are a good way to travel around Marrakech, but the price should be agreed before travelling. Buses are regular and inexpensive, but can be overcrowded.
Driving directions. From the airport drive towards the city centre, following signs to Fes.
After passing the Metro shopping mall on the left, turn right at the main roundabout towards Ouarzazate.
After about nine kilometres turn left, following signs to Bled Al Fassia which can be found after nearly two kilometres on the left.
