Festooned in bright colors and rustic Mexican architecture, Blue Bay Club stands just 20 minutes from Cancun's International Airport at the tip of the seaside fishing village of Puerto Juarez, the gateway to Isla Mujeres. The glitz of Cancun's famous nightlife and world-class shopping opportunities are only a short bus or taxi ride away. Blue Bay Club also is close to El Centro, where guests can experience the tropical ambience of a real Mexican city and everything that Cancun's provincial shops, native markets and craft stalls have to offer.
Situated on a long stretch of oceanfront on the Mexican Caribbean's Bahia de Mujeres, the white-powder beach is ideal for sunbathing, jogging, volleyball and soccer.
Blue Bay Club's guestrooms are spacious and bright. Each room gives guests a view of either the ocean or a garden. Many of the rooms have balconies or terraces. Bathrooms have basic shower/tub combinations.
The dining options include El Palmar, which serves all meals, and La Terraza, which serves snacks by the beach during the day and fine dining in the evening. Ostras and Oysters offers International favorites and reservations are required. Tequila's serves snacks from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Diego's is the property's poolside bar.
