Location. Merville Beach Hotel is located in Grand Baie, Mauritius, by a long beach of white sand bordering the lagoon. The centre of Grand Baie is one kilometre away and the airport is 75 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Merville Beach Hotel comprises a main hotel and bungalows with stone walls and thatched roofs, set within tropical gardens. An outdoor pool, with children's paddling pool, is surrounded by a terrace with beach umbrellas and coconut palms. The onsite spa has double sauna and steam room and offers a range of massage treatments. Parking is complimentary.
La Terrasse Restaurant at Merville Beach overlooks the pool and gardens, and serves dishes inspired by Creole traditions. The continental breakfast is complimentary. Le Badamier Bar offers cocktails and local drinks, with beach service during the day. A resident band provides nightly live music.

From Mauritius Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU):
Distance to Merville Beach Hotel is 75 kilometres, approximately 70 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The best ways to travel to the resorts of Port Louis, Flic en Flacq, Belle Mare, and Grand Baie are private car or taxi. Taxis to Port Louis cost approximately 300 MUR, and the fare should be negotiated before departure. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Buses are available throughout Mauritius. Metered taxis are available, and have black and white registration plates. Bicycles are popular for exploring the area, and are available for hire from most resorts. A car is recommended for visiting the less touristy parts of the island.
Driving directions. From the airport, head towards Port Louis and then follow signs for Grand Baie.
