Location. The all inclusive Coco Beach resort is located in Belle Mare, on the east coast of Mauritius. The resort is situated along more than a kilometre of white, sandy beaches and secluded coves.
Hotel Features. Set within 32 hectares of tropical gardens, Le Coco Beach is a modern beach resort complex. The grounds feature an outdoor swimming pool and a mini golf course. The resort offers a range of beauty and massage services. Other amenities include a hair salon and onsite shopping. The hotel's multilingual staff are on hand to provide a range of services, including currency exchange, tour assistance, and airport transfers (surcharge).
Le Coco Beach offers several dining options, including a nightly, themed buffet, a beachfront à la carte restaurant, and a poolside bar and grill. The all inclusive package includes all meals; house wines during lunch and dinner; unlimited drinks taken at the main restaurant, disco, and poolside bar; ice creams, pancakes, and hot drinks from the poolside bar; and contents of the in room minibars.
The resort offers a range of activities for all ages, including aerobics and horse riding classes, and live evening entertainment. Water sports available at the beach include scuba diving, windsurfing, and snorkelling. The resort also provides facilities for tennis, volleyball, and croquet. A kids' club offers a splash pool and supervised activities for children aged two to 12.
Guestrooms. The 333 air conditioned rooms have bright, summery decor and furnishings, and open onto balconies or patios. All offer satellite television, tea and coffee facilities, minibars, and safes. Bathrooms come with combination showers and tubs.
Expert Tip. Domaine du Chasseur stretches over 770 hectares and provides a natural hunting ground, with thousands of deer and hundreds of wild boar. Visitors can sometimes spot protected species such as the windhover kestrel. |

From Mauritius Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU):
Distance to Le Coco Beach is 55 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The best way to travel to Belle Mare is by taxi. Taxis should cost approximately 40 EUR, and the fare should be negotiated before departure. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Buses are available throughout Mauritius. Metered taxis are available, and have black and white registration plates. Bicycles are popular for exploring the area, and are available for hire from most resorts. A car is recommended for visiting the less touristy parts of the island. |
