The Gold Beach Hotel is a modern whitewashed, beachfront resort, located in the west coast village of Flic en Flac, 10 kilometres from Port Louis. The hotel's 31 air conditioned guestrooms have simple decor with wood floors and traditional wood furnishings. All offer balconies with beach or gardens views, satellite television, direct dial phones, safes and Internet access (surcharge). Bathrooms have makeup mirrors and hair dryers.

The 24 hour front desk can arrange such entertainment and other bookings, while water sports including motor boating, snorkelling and scuba diving are available on the beach. Day trips can be organized to Port Louis, 10 kilometres from the hotel, which has beaches of its own, as well as other places of interest such as the Natural History Museum. Souillac, 15 kilometres from the hotel, is a place of natural beauty, and the Seven Coloured Earth at Chamarel, 20 kilometres away, is a well known geological curiosity that is worth a visit. Mauritius Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport is 43 kilometres (27 miles) from the hotel, a 60 minute drive. |
