Location. Located on the Sliema Promenade, 50 metres from the beach and five kilometres from the Maltese capital of Valetta, the Diplomat Hotel lies 10 kilometres (25 minutes' drive) from Malta International Airport (MLA).
Hotel Features. The hotel's rooftop swimming pool is surrounded by sun-loungers and overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. The fitness centre is open daily and offers gym equipment and a sauna. Guests can connect wirelessly to the Internet throughout the public areas, and complimentary newspapers are available near the lobby bar.
The Diplomat Hotel's Penny Farthing Restaurant with its sky-lit ceiling offers an international menu and buffet dining and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guestrooms. The Diplomat Hotel has 113 guestrooms spread over seven floors. All have fitted carpets, oak furniture, floral fabrics and balconies with full or partial sea views. Guests receive complimentary access to the Surfside Club, which is open between May and October. The club offers a restaurant, bar, direct beach access, and the use of parasols, sun beds, and showers. Day tickets are provided by staff at the hotel's front desk. |
