The Palazzo Guiderocchi is an impressively restored property dating back to 1500 and once the residence of the ruling tyrant. Later housing the old treasury department, the ecclesiastical tribunal, and the notarial archive, this historic hotel is located in the small town of Ascoli Piceno, 25 kilometres from the Adriatic coast. Taxis are readily available at the airport. There is an airport railway connection to Ancona from where guests can travel to Ascoli Piceno railway station which is one kilometre from the hotel. A bus service also runs between Ascoli Piceno and Ancona Airport.
Driving from Ancona Airport take the Highway A/14 towards Pescara (Southbond). Exit at 'San Benedetto del Tronto' and then take the 'Superstrada' (Speed way) to Ascoli Piceno, which is 15 minutes drive. The best gate to reach Palazzo Guiderocchi is 'Porta Cartara' and then follow the signs for 'Hotel Palazzo Guiderocchi' |
