The Silva Maris is an All-Inclusive resort built in the style of a traditional Cretan village, set amongst lush greenery overlooking the sea in Hersonissos. Heraklion city centre and the airport are 25 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 25 minutes. This three-floor property features 312 air-conditioned guestrooms distributed amongst traditional Cretan style bungalows. Rooms are simply decorated in natural shades with rustic wooden furnishings and tiled floors. All have balconies and include satellite TV, direct-dial phones, hairdryers, mini-refrigerators and high-speed Internet access. Complimentary wine and mineral water is offered.
The resort features two outdoor swimming pools set amongst low stone walls and small piazzas in 5,000 square metres of landscaped gardens. Activities offered include games, quizzes, bingo, Greek dancing, cooking and language lessons and sporting events. Energetic guests can enjoy access to a tennis court, petanque and boccia courts. At the beach there is a volleyball pitch and guests can enjoy free use of sun beds and umbrellas as well as a towel service, showers and changing facilities. A water sports centre is situated 400 metres from the hotel offering windsurfing, water skiing and pedal boats (surcharges apply). Evening entertainment includes a 60s' night and Zorba's night with Cretan buffet and live Greek music and dance. As well as a buffet and à la carte restaurant, guests are kept refreshed throughout the day at the five bars. Amenities include a shopping arcade, Internet access, and medical room.
All-Inclusive plan - The All-Inclusive rate includes the following:
Room accommodations. Full American buffet breakfast, late breakfast, continental breakfast, buffet lunch and dinner, late buffet dinner; local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks; in-room drinks including wine and mineral water; snacks. Use of swimming pool, beach and pool sun loungers, towel service. Use of resort facilities, classes, and activities, children's mini-club six days a week, children's disco, and day and evening entertainment programme six days a week.
Not included: Branded drinks, imported beers, premium wines and champagne. Some dishes on the à la carte menu. Safe deposit boxes. Water sports. Billiards. Telephone, fax and Internet usage. Laundry services. Transfers, transport and additional purchases.
Please note: All- Inclusive guests are required to wear a wristband throughout their stay to be entitled to All-Inclusive services. Formal dress (no shorts or sleeveless shirts) must be worn in all restaurants during evening meals. |
