Location. The Sea View Village resort is located outside the village of Xirokastelo on Zakynthos Island, Greece, 500 metres from the beach and four kilometres from the town of Zakynthos. The nearest bus stop is 200 metres from the resort. Zakynthos International Airport is nine kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Nestled against the Vassilikos hills, the Sea View Village is a quiet, family run establishment that incorporates traditional and modern architectural styles. Leisure facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, children's pool and spa tub. Currency exchange is available at the front desk and groceries can be purchased at the onsite shop.
The poolside restaurant and bar serves traditional Greek dishes and local wines. Once a week, the resort hosts a special Greek Night, with a barbecue buffet and traditional entertainment.
A playground is provided for children. A complimentary shuttle bus provides transportation to the beach, which offers opportunities for water sports such as jet skiing, scuba diving and windsurfing.
Guestrooms. The 37 air conditioned apartments are spread between three main buildings. All feature balconies with sea views and are traditionally decorated, with tiles and antique furnishings. Amenities include satellite channels, Internet access via television, direct dial telephones and safes. Kitchenettes are equipped with toasters, refrigerators, tea/coffeemakers, hot plates and crockery. Rooms are accessible to wheelchair users.
Expert Tip. The Venetian Castle on the hill above Zakynthos affords spectacular views of the sea and surrounding area. Head to St Nikolaos for boat trips around the coastline's unique Blue Caves, renowned for their remarkably vivid colours. |

From Zakynthos International Airport (ZTH):
Distance to the Sea View Village is nine kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis are available in front of the airport and fares to the hotel cost approximately 20 EUR (subject to change). Public buses run to Zakynthos town. Buses to surrounding villages leave from Zakynthos.
Getting around. Cheap, efficient bus services run regularly to all the main resorts from Zakynthos town. A car is recommended for exploring the island. Zakynthos's roads are generally good around the main resorts, but can become rough tracks in more remote areas.
Driving directions. From the airport, drive towards Zakynthos.
From Zakynthos, head south along the Vasilikos Peninsula, past Argassi town, to Xirokastelo.
