Location. The Hermes Delphi Hotel is located in Delphi, Greece, on the town's main street, overlooking an olive grove. It is 400 metres from the Museum of Delphi and 600 metres from the Oracle of Delphi archaeological site. Kira, with its beach and port, is 22 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The hotel reflects the local style of architecture, with exposed stone walls, wood framed windows, and wrought iron decorations. There is 24 hour room service, a comfortable lobby area and complimentary parking is available.
A complimentary breakfast buffet is available every morning. Hermes Delphi does not have its own restaurant, but there are various places to eat nearby.
Hermes Delphi is 28 kilometres from the Mount Parnassos ski resort, and guests can store their skis for free.
Guestrooms. There are 36 guestrooms, all decorated in a traditional style with cream walls and dark wood ceilings and furniture. The rooms have bathrooms with hair dryers, televisions, and direct dial phones. Some have balconies with views over a valley of olive groves and the sea in the distance.
Expert Tip. The archaeological sites around Delphi are world famous, but it is also worth spending time in the modern village itself which has stunning views. |

From Athens Airport (ATH):
Distance to Hermes Delphi Hotel is 160 kilometres, approximately two hours' drive.
Getting there. From the airport, take the Proastiakos train towards Stathmos Larisis and get off at Stathmos Nerantziotisa. Then, take Metro Line 1 towards Pireaus and get off at Kato Patissia to reach the Athens bus station located at 260 Liossion Street. Buses run from Athens to Delphi several times a day. The journey is about 3 hours. Upon arriving at the Delphi bus station, continue 200 metres ahead on the same street, and the hotel is on the right.
Getting around. The centre of Delphi and the archaeological site can be easily navigated on foot. A car would be useful to explore the surrounding area.
Driving directions. From the airport, take the Attica Road towards Elefsis.
Take Exit 9 for Lamia/E 75. Continue on E75 and take the Castro exit on the right, following the signs for Levadia.
Drive through Orchomenos, Levadia, and Arachova. Delphi is the next town. |
