Location. The Chios Chandris Hotel is located in Chios town on the island of Chios, Greece, 500 metres from the town centre, overlooking the harbour and the Aegean, and 300 metres from the nearest beach. Chios International Airport is three kilometres away.
Hotel Features. A modern four storey white building overlooking the harbour. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace, and the marble tiled lobby has a 24 hour front desk offering currency exchange, a cash machine, coffee and complimentary newspapers, and wireless Internet in public areas. There is also an onsite hair salon and parking nearby.
The Elinda Restaurant at the Chios Chandris Hotel serves Greek and Mediterranean dishes, with vegetarian and children's menus available. A buffet breakfast is complimentary, and the bar has a poolside café.
The flexible meeting and conference space at the Chios Chandris can host up to 200 delegates, and is equipped for audio visual presentation.

Expert Tip. Near the village of Vrondados lies an archaeological site known as Teacher's Rock, which is allegedly the birthplace of the epic poet Homer. Chios is famous for production of mastic gum since Roman times, and the Mastic Villages in the south feature fortified gates and narrow streets which once protected against pirates. |

From Chios International Airport (JKH):
Distance to Chios Chandris Hotel is 3 kilometres, approximately 5 minutes' drive.
Getting there. There are four daily flights between Athens and Chios and weekly flights. The hotel provides a shuttle transport from the airport for surcharge and also recommends a taxi direct costing around 10 EUR. Prices are subject to change.
Getting around. Chios town is compact and easily explored on foot. Taxis can be taken around the island, or alternatively car or scooter rental is recommended.
Driving directions. From Chios Airport, follow signs for Chios town.
On reaching the town, head for the waterfront and there turn right, following the harbour round.
Take the last right before the end of the waterfront, and then take first left onto Chandris Street, where the hotel is found.
