Location. The Park Hotel Athens is located in Athens, Greece, 1.5 kilometres from the National History Museum, and two kilometres from Syntagma Square and the Acropolis. The nearest train station is 500 metres away.
Hotel Features. Overlooking Pedion Areos Park, this contemporary high rise eight storey hotel features a gym with cardio vascular equipment, sauna, Turkish bath, and an outdoor swimming pool. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby and multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can offer currency exchange. Wireless Internet access is available, room service is offered 24 hours a day, and onsite parking is complimentary.
A daily complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily at the Park Hotel Athens. There are three dining options on site. Alexandra's serves Greek cuisine and wines, and international dishes from an a la carte menu. Vegetarian and children's menus are also available. St Astra is a top floor contemporary fine dining restaurant with picture windows offering panoramic views across the city, and serves Greek and French cuisine. The Park Café serves coffees, teas, cakes, sweets, and soft drinks. There is also a seasonal poolside bar.

Getting there. The suburban rail line connects the airport to Athens' central station, Larissis Station. Single tickets cost 8 EUR. Additionally, Metro line 3 runs between the city centre and the airport. Six public bus routes cover Athens. Taxis can be found in front of Arrivals, Door 4, and cost approximately 30 EUR to the Park Hotel Athens. Prices are subject to change.
Getting around. Public transport throughout Athens is inexpensive and convenient. Services include buses, trams, trolley buses, and a metro service. Tickets should be validated at the orange machines on board or in metro stations. Taxis are also available and are reasonably priced. Visitors are advised not to drive in the city. |
