An airport bus service operates from Terminal One (Old Airport). Bus service 400 leaves approximately every 30 minutes during the day and every hour at night. One of the best ways to explore Cairo is by the new Metro system, which is inexpensive and not too crowded. Buses and minibuses are still the most common form of transport for Cairenes, but taxis are a better option for visitors.
