Location. The Sonesta Club Sharm El Sheikh is located on Naama Bay in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, overlooking the Red Sea, the desert and the mountains of South Sinai. Sharm El Sheikh Airport (SSH) is ten kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. A traditional Nubian style resort, the Sonesta Club Sharm El Sheikh is surrounded by landscaped gardens. The dramatic pool area features three freeform swimming pools and a poolside bar. The resort also reserves 300 metres of private sandy beach next to its sister hotel. The onsite health club offers massage treatments and features a sauna, spa tub and a gym with cardio vascular and resistance equipment. The resort's shopping arcade offers a jeweller's and a gift shop. Room service is available around the clock.
The Sonesta Club Sharm El Sheikh's four restaurants and bars offer a range of drinks, snacks, and international and Egyptian dishes. A complimentary buffet breakfast is offered every morning. Restaurant La Gondola hosts live music on the garden terrace.
The Sonesta Club's conference room can accommodate up to 120 guests. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas.
The Sonesta Club features its own fully equipped dive centre. The resort also offers access to the facilities at the neighbouring sister hotel, including a casino, private beach and a kids' club for children aged five to 12.

Expert Tip. The Ras Mohamed National Park, 35 kilometres away, is renowned for its exquisite coral reefs, which are home to more than 200 different species of coral, 1,000 species of fish, and 40 species of starfish. Sea turtles are also regularly seen here. |

From Sharm El Sheikh Airport (SSH):
Distance to Sonesta Club Sharm El Sheikh is ten kilometres, approximately ten minutes' drive.
Getting there. Only white and blue taxis are permitted in Naama Bay's centre. Taxis cost approximately 20 EGP 40 EGP to Naama Bay and 40 EGP 50 EGP to Sharm El Sheikh. Travellers are advised to negotiate the fare prior to departure. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Taxis are the best way to explore Sharm El Sheikh and South Sinai. Fares should be negotiated prior to departure. The area is served by local buses, but they can be overcrowded. A car is recommended for exploring further afield. |
