The Sharm Cliff Resort is a striking white building with contemporary architecture overlooking Neama Bay in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh, on the southern tip of the Sinai peninsula, Egypt. Set over three floors, the 92 guestrooms all have balconies and terraces, some with sea views, and simple modern decor with tiled floors, patterned fabrics and light wood furnishings including desks, coffee tables and dressing tables. All include air conditioning, satellite television, minibars and safes. Half board and bed and breakfast room rates are offered.
The hotel has a large swimming pool with separate children's pool, surrounded by sunbeds and parasols. There is also a children's playground, and the hotel shares a health club with its neighbouring sister hotel, the Sharm Holiday Resort, which includes a gym, hot tub, sauna, steam bath and massage. Guests have a wide range of onsite dining options at the hotel including international buffets, a seafood restaurant, poolside snacks and a beach bar. There is also a traditional Bedouin tent where guests can enjoy a mint tea and try a shisha water pipe. There is disco and live entertainment each night including folkloric shows, belly dancers and singers. The hotel offers an organised programme of activities such as water aerobics, water polo and sports tournaments and there is a tennis court at the hotel (coaching available for a surcharge) and a squash court next door at the Sharm Holiday Resort. The golden sandy private beach in Neama Bay is a five minute walk away, where guests will find sun beds and umbrellas as well as non motorized water sports and glass bottom boats. Practical amenities include round the clock room service, and a babysitting service is available on request (surcharge). Multilingual staff on the 24 hour front desk can assist with tourist advice and transport bookings, and help organise day trips to biblical sites such as Mount Sinai, where Moses is said to have received the Ten Commandments.
