The hotel provides free airport transport. Alternatively black and white taxis and limousines leave from outside the arrivals hall. A typical taxi fare to the hotel is approximately 15 USD, or 30 USD for a limousine. One of the best ways to explore Cairo is by the inexpensive Metro system. Buses and minibuses serve all parts of the city, although taxis are a better option for visitors. Boats depart frequently for University, a landing over on the Giza side of the river. Every second boat continues south to Manial, Rhoda, Giza and Masr al Qadima (oldCairo). |
