Location. Amaraya Club Marsa Alam is located in Marsa Alam, Egypt, within 10 kilometres of a health club at Kahramana resort. Scuba diving at Elphinstone Reef, Daedalus Island and Dolphin Reef are all available nearby.
Hotel Features. This hotel is situated in an oasis of palm trees and flowers amid the desert sands near the Red Sea. Amaraya Club is set in a two storey stone building on its own private beach that offers sun beds and umbrellas and features one kilometre of coral reef for snorkelling and diving. The hotel overlooks a heated swimming pool that opens during the winter.
There are nine bars and restaurants available at Amaraya Club Marsa Alam, including a main restaurant offering buffet dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Planet Bedouin, a genuine Bedouin tent located on the beach and offering oriental drinks and Shisha (water pipes). Mine Pub and Discotheque opens with music and dancing. The half board rate includes buffet breakfast and dinner.
There is a kids' club with indoor and outdoor playground. The hotel offers two tennis courts, mini beach football and a beach volleyball court. A diving and water sports centre is available on the beach. There is a horse riding area for riding on the beach. Kahramana Health Club is located nearby and offers sauna, massage and a gym.
Guestrooms. There are 75 air conditioned guestrooms at Amaraya Club Marsa Alam. Guestrooms feature satellite television, bathrooms with hair dryers, minibars and direct dial telephones. Guestrooms have half board rates.
Expert Tip. The hotel offers shuttle buses to Abu Dabbab Bay for snorkelling. Guests can book sunset desert trips by quad and jeep. |

From Marsa Alam International Airport (RMF):
Distance to Amaraya Club Marsa Alam is 65 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The best way to reach the hotel is by car. Taxis depart from the airport, but agree a price prior to departure. Shuttle vans and private cars run to Marsa Alam, Luxor and Shams Alam.
Getting around. Most of the resorts have air conditioned buses to take guests to different places in Marsa Alam. Public transportation is also available with microbuses and taxis that travel from town to any of the resorts. Hiring a car is recommended for exploring further afield. |
