Hilton Sharm Dreams Resort is a sleek two floor complex set in landscaped gardens, 150 metres from the beach and 10 kilometres from diving sites. Earth tone colour schemes and tiled floors define the 314 guestrooms, all of which include balconies, cable television with European and Arabic channels, direct dial phones, minibars, coffee/tea makers and bathrooms with complimentary toiletries.
The resort boasts seven outdoor pools, including a diving pool, one pool that is heated in winter, two snack islands in the main pool, and terraces equipped with sun loungers and parasols. Younger guests will be kept entertained at the kids' club, which offers a splash pool, toys, a playground and supervised activities. Diners have a choice of three restaurants: Le Jardin offers themed buffets, a pool terrace and views of the mountains; Casa Sharm serves traditional Italian fare; and the colourful Tex Mex offers outdoor seating and a menu of Mexican dishes. In the evening, guests can enjoy cocktails and live entertainment in the lively Caribi bar. On request, the resort can organise a Starlight Dinner, a sunset safari to a desert location where guests can enjoy an Oriental buffet, traditional Bedouin music and belly dancing. The onsite shopping arcade offers a variety of shops where guests can buy gifts and souvenirs. Those visiting on business can make use of Internet access, photocopying and secretarial services, and a meeting room able to accommodate up to 200 people. Staff at the 24 hour front desk are on hand to exchange currency and arrange excursions and sightseeing trips. Guests of the resort enjoy access to the neighbouring Hilton Fayrouz complex's private beach, 150 metres away. Visitors to the Ras Mohamed National Park, 20 kilometres away, can enjoy don scuba gear to explore coral reefs, or stay on dry land to spot desert wildlife. Sharm El Sheikh Airport is 12 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 15 minutes. |
