The Best Western Hotel Selský dvur is a rustic18th century building, housing a family run hotel in a quiet district of Prague, eight kilometers from the city center. The 30 guestrooms overlook the garden and have a simple, lemon décor with dark wood furnishings. All rooms include air conditioning, satellite television, Internet connections, newspapers and minibars. Bathrooms include complimentary toiletries, bathrobes and hairdryers.
The restaurant offers dishes from a choice of International and Czech cuisines and maintains the original rustic décor of the cottage's eating quarters, with a wood beamed atrium and a functioning water mill in the garden. There is also a bar decorated with frescoes, which overlooks the garden and offers a selection of drinks, including an international selection of wines. The hotel has a wireless Internet system accessible in public areas for a fee, which guests can use to plan a day's sightseeing. The hotel also offers conferences facilities, providing all necessary audio visual equipment and catering, for a maximum of 140 delegates. Guests arriving by car benefit from paid parking facilities. Located eight kilometers from Wenceslas Square, the hotel is a bus and metro ride to the city center of Prague, although taxis are also available. Visitors can relax with a coffee or a beer on the town's central square, lined with churches and halls that are prime examples of Bohemian architecture. Crossing the Charles Bridge amid the many restaurants, bars and clubs in that area, the opposite bank is dominated by Petrín Hill and Prague Castle, which is set high up on a hill and affords panoramic views of the city. Bus no.119 goes from the airport to the underground stop Dejvickà. To get to the hotel, take the underground from here to the Skalka terminus and then take bus number 177 to the stop Hostivarské námestí, opposite the hotel. |

From the airport, take the R1( E48 ) and
join Novoreporyjská E48, heading towards Barandov. Exit to
Barandovský most, in the direction of Mladá Boleslav ( E48 ).
Follow Ji ní spojka for around 14 kilometers and exit at the
sign for Zahradní mesto. Stay on vehlova street and pass by the
Shell gas station and the shopping center Interspar on the
right hand side. Turn right at the traffic lights beside the OMV
gas station. |
