Location. The Archibald at the Charles Bridge is located in the centre of Prague, Czech Republic, 600 metres from Malostranska metro station. Prague Castle is 800 metres from the hotel and the Old Town Square and National Museum are one kilometre away.
Hotel Features. Sited overlooking Charles Bridge and the Vltava River, the Archibald is a boutique hotel housed in a protected 16th century property with a pale yellow façade. The hotel opens onto a courtyard and garden area with views of the river. Complimentary Internet access is available in the wood panelled lobby. From Prague Ruzyne Airport (PRG):
Distance to the Archibald at the Charles Bridge is 15 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Take bus 119 to Dejvicka station and then the metro in the direction of Depo Hostivar, alighting at Malostranksa station. On exiting the metro station, turn left and then right, walking by the tram station to U Luzickeho Seminare Street. Continue to Charles Bridge, turn left and go under the vault of the bridge to Na Kampe Square. The hotel is at the end of the square on the left. A taxi directly from the airport typically costs around 690 CZK. Prices subject to change.
Getting around. Prague's historic centre is compact and easy to explore on foot, as many roads are pedestrianised. There is an efficient and inexpensive public transport system, including trams, buses, metro, and a funicular railway. Tickets are available from tobacconists, stations, and many hotel reception desks, and can be used on all modes of transport. Five of the major metro stations have information offices, with schedules, maps, and directions. |
