The Anastasia Beach Hotel is a modern complex with spacious terraces, set 200 metres from the beach and 1.5 kilometres from the centre of Protaras. The 191 simply decorated guestrooms have light walls, patterned fabrics and functional furnishings. All include balconies, air conditioning, cable television, direct dial phones and refrigerators. Bathrooms have handheld showers and hair dryers. The half board room rate incorporates buffet breakfast and dinner each day.
The Athena Restaurant offers an international and Greek buffet every evening in a colourful contemporary setting, and a selection of hot and cold buffet dishes is served in the Artemis Cafeteria at lunchtime. Guests can while away the hours sunbathing on the terraces, and relax with a sauna, steam and massage. The hotel also offers a varied entertainment program, including daytime activities, theme nights, shows, live music and folk dancing. Guests can take a dip in the indoor and outdoor pools, enjoy a game on the floodlit tennis courts, and work out at the gym. The bar offers a selection of drinks and cocktails, while children can enjoy their very own pool and playground. The hotel is well placed to explore the surrounding area; just 1.5 kilometres away is Protaras's busy centre, three kilometres away is Cape Greco, and the hotel is six kilometres from Paralimni, and eight kilometres from the resort of Ayia Napa. Taxis are available from the airport and charge around 15 20 CYP to Protaras; 1.5 kilometres from the hotel. Higher prices apply late evening and early morning. Intercity buses also connect the airport with all major towns and cities in Cyprus. Buses are reasonably priced and connect most of the main points on the island. Alternatively, many visitors choose to rent bicycles to explore the island's attractions. |
