Location.Renovated in 2008, the Westin Aruba Resort rises along the Caribbean Sea in Palm Beach, Aruba. Oranjestad's shops, restaurants and nightlife are located six kilometers away.
Hotel Features. The lobby displays cushioned rattan seating, palm trees, tropical floral arrangements and a copper modern-art floating sculpture. On-site restaurants and bars include Blossoms Chinese/Japanese restaurant. Azull, open on select days, serves champagne at sunset followed by five-course meals. Pago Pago offers formal dinner service and prepares duck, steak, lobster and swordfish dishes. Multiple bars provide beachfront ambience and host live music. A business center offers fax, photocopy, print, notary and courier services. Six function spaces, the largest measuring 10,075 square feet, accommodate events. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee. Resort activities feature scuba diving, sailing, surfing and deep-sea fishing. Watercraft such as catamarans, kayaks, jet skis and surfboards may be rented. An outdoor pool complex features a freeform pool and three terraced spa tubs. Modeled after the film classic "Casablanca," the casino features plasma-screen televisions and live bands, and contains a complete range of table games and slot machines. The resort spa features deep-tissue and aromatherapy massages, Vichy showers, facials, scrubs and mineral wraps. Intermezzo Salon offers beauty services. The complimentary Westin Kids Club hosts supervised soccer games, scavenger hunts and video game tournaments for children ages 4 to 12.
Guestrooms. The Westin Aruba Resort offers 481 contemporary guestrooms in an 18-story tower. Rooms extend onto balconies with Caribbean Sea or countryside views. In-room safes are provided. Accommodations are outfitted with Westin Heavenly Beds and Heavenly Baths. Beds feature pillowtop mattresses, tropical-weight down comforters and down/feather pillows. Accommodations include coffeemakers.
Expert Tip. Every Wednesday is movie night where guests can watch a movie while lounging in or around the pool. Drinks and popcorn are available for purchase while watching movies under the stars. |
